Our pre-placement assessment service covers the biopsychosocial capability of a prospective employee to undertake the work and ensure that the prospective employee will not constitute a health hazard to others. In addition, our occupational health screenings are designed to identify health problems that will require ongoing advice or supportive management and adjustments.
Our pre-placement assessment questionnaire will be configured and individually bespoke according to client-specific risk. The questionnaires are being designed to investigate all of the points required regarding medical history, and for healthcare workers, this will include immunisations.
Where employees require further investigation, we provide a detailed report on fitness to start work within a day of the assessment. UKIM also make recommendations on fitness to carry out the role of employment and consider:
- Health and Safety
- Reasonable adjustments and adaptions in the case of vulnerable or disabled employees
- Current and ongoing medical conditions
- Any limitation in the tasks the employee can safely carry out
Our pre-employment assessments may also be used to ascertain suitability for existing employees who may be changing roles or employees who may be changing working locations.
